A project can be something as ordinary as a family gathering, a story or a course you are taking. In Claude, you can create a separate space for a piece of work and add relevant material and instructions.
Start with a short description of the goal. What do you want to produce, who is it for and what has already been decided? Then add a few documents that are genuinely needed.
Ask Claude to begin by summarising what the project is about. This helps you notice anything important that is missing or misunderstood before moving on to new writing and suggestions.
Having everything together can make it easier to return to an idea after a few days. But organisation helps here too: clear filenames and current information provide a better starting point than a large pile of everything. Choose material with the same care you would for a human collaborator.
