In GTD, things you are waiting for go on a separate list: an email reply, a decision or a spare part. The point is to stop trying to remember everything.

AI can turn loose notes into a clean list. Paste only information that is not sensitive and write:

“Turn these notes into a Waiting For list. For each item, state who or what I am waiting for, what should arrive, when I asked and when I should follow up. Do not invent details. Mark anything that is missing.”

The note “Eva was going to check the venue, asked on Monday” might become: “Eva – venue decision – asked September 28 – follow-up date missing.” That last part matters. AI should show the gap, not fill it with a guess.

Review the result and add only things you are actually waiting for. During your weekly review, decide what can wait, what needs a follow-up and what is complete. AI sorts the material; you keep the judgement.
